Incorporating elements of traditional worship and religious memorial services, we will hold sacred space; pausing to honor and remember our beloved Scotties who have passed away since the last Alumnae Weekend.

This multimillion-dollar project included the renovation of student residences on the second and third floor, as well as the creation of the Elizabeth Kiss Welcome Center on the first floor. Once renovations were completed, Rebekah Scott Hall received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification, the most widely-used green building rating system in the world, and Platinum is the highest-level rating.

Revisit Agnes Scott College’s Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformative virtual courageous conversation moderated by Agnes Scott College trustee, Dr. Tawana Ware ’96. Robiaun Charles, vice president for advancement; Karen Goff, vice president for student affairs and dean of students; Danita Knight, vice president for communications and marketing; and Yves-Rose Porcena, vice president for equity and inclusion, have a meaningful conversation about leadership, reconciling racial justice and business needs at institutions during the pandemic; exercising self-care for mental health for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color leaders dealing with oppression and exhaustion; and ways in which students can get involved and educate people on important diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.
